I want to know if anyone has ever taken this vaccination before and what you think of it. I would like to do it but on the sheet they strongly emphasize the words heterosexual male and....... ummm well Im bisexual, though still a virgin. So does that mean this test isnt for me? Im confused. Any opinions? |
It's going to be awhile before they let adults take the vaccine. They want it targeted towards kids once they turn 13 and there is a lot of controversy around it... It is a STD vaccine and some parents might not like the idea of it. But for the most part, they say once you contract HPV the vaccine won't do a thing for you.
But! What I don't understand is. If a male has the High-Risk HPV, (The virus that can cause cancer/abnormal cells on the cervix) And there isn't a test unless the girlfriends has an abnormal pap smear. How would they know that the male is not supposed to take the vaccine??
So I guess in a way… Why not take it if you already have it??
