Ok, so the warts are destined to come back right? Anyone who has experience please talk to me. The same ones come back or new ones? I do not want to have to keep getting them burned off every two weeks. I miss sex with my boyfriend! Ok, I know that is not that important.. I know. But serious. How long before they reappear? Just go with the same treatment? Anything work better?
Different treatments work for different people. After a while, your body will recognize and fight the virus and you shouldn't have a recurrence. This is for MOST people keep in mind. Also, the time of recurrence differs from person to person. Sometimes they are gone in a few months and never reappear. Sometimes it takes up to 6 months...other times longer. It really does vary from person to person. Be patient though...your life will be back to normal soon. Eat right, get plenty of sleep, etc etc...that all helps!
I had mine burnt off when I first got them and that was about 19 years ago and they have never came back thank god, I do have deep scaring from where they were lazored off, but other than that, I haven't had any problems...Good luck to you
my doc said that getting the warts burned off just takes off a small top layer of the wart at a time. she recommended a treatment such as aldara since it seems to attack the "root" of the wart better. My thought is, if your current treatment isnt working well, try something else...
I used a gel on mine and they went away within 2 weeks and they have never came back, that was almost 2 years ago. Give it some time and see what happens, talk to your dr and see what they say about going on a different medication.
thanks for all of the help. I am playing the waiting game now. I think I may try the cream if they come back cuz I have been sore for the last week or so. thanks for the advice
