Dr. Scholl's freeze away for HPV?

Hi..

Saw a commercial for Dr. Scholl's freeze away on TV and heard them say "what the doctors use in the office to freeze warts is now available at home".

Is it the same thing they use for HPV?

I have some HPV warts and would much rather take them off myself then have someone else do it for me.. Is it worth buying, and is it safe to use???

where are you warts at, i had them on my feet they are called plantar wart and i bought it twice and it didnt work so well for me , to me it would be good if they have not been they for longer than a month to use but if longer go to your doctor that is what i am going thru now they same procedure that freeze away does but the doctors is stronger or at least they say...
but for me not good resluts maybe for you yes....
i just know my doctor said its best to use the freeze away for the wart if it has not been there for a long time so they are not so deep rooted and now i feel like i wasted all that time..
good luck

All warts are HPV warts. Are you saying you have genital warts? If so, then I would read the package very carefully to make sure the stuff is useable on the genitals (maybe ask the pharmacist). Chances are it's not.
(As for the plantar wart, lovingmotherof2, I know someone who got rid of hers with Duofilm. Took a while, but it eventually disappeared. You just gotta keep at it.)

I read it, and it says you are not supposed to use it on the genitals.

However, they might just be covering there *** so if something does happen they are not liable for it?

I mean, if its the same thing the doc uses in the office, whats the problem?
