I have HPV, I have high risk precancourous cells on my cervix. Is this goign to effect my already weak immune system? If I am still haveing sex with the person who gave it to me, are we just passing is back and fourht to eachother and will it ever go away?
I am 18 years old. My doctor told me in June that I had the HPV virus. They said they noticed abnormal cells on my cervix and it was caused by the HPV virus. They thought they were lowgrade but when they took samples of the cells they found them to be highgrade stage 3 or 2. That was in July. I know I caught the virus in Janurry through may of this year. That is the first time I became sexually atcive again with my boyfriend, who I have only been sexually active with. I have a already week immune system because my doctor told me, and I am constatnly getting sick more and more frequently latley.
It is more likely that because your immune system is weak, the HPV has been able to become active. You should concentrate on boosting your immune system to help suppress the HPV virus.
A person can carry the HPV virus for many years without it being active. As far as the person you are having sex with, you have both been exposed. You are not passing it back and forth. Once you have the virus, you have it.
