Hello everyone, sorry in advance if this ends up longer then I'm intending

. 6 months ago I was told i had HPV, sorry for not knowing specifics, its the precancerous type and the type thats "higher risk" they called it. After a recheck 2 months later with it coming back positive again I was sent to a GYN clinic for a colp. Now at this point everything is looking ok. Havet gotten the results back yet, but she definitly said things dont look too bad and only needed to take a biopsy from a very small area. I watched this on thr tv as well so i could see for myself it wasnt as bad as i was expecting.
Now the one thing that none of the dr. are giving me 1 answer on is the passing of this back and forth between partners. So im hoping maybe some ladies here can help me. For the most part my fiance and I use condoms and always have, but theres always that occasional slip up, so theres a definite possiblity its in his system. So lets say I get the ok from my dr. and I'm free and clear. Does this mean I still need to be worried about getting it again from my fiance if its still in his system? 1 doc said no, i cant catch the same type that I had already again, and the doc at the gyn clinic said that yes I can if its still in his system. So i dont know what to do if my body is able to fight this off on its own. I'm on bc now and hoping to not have to use condoms. But since there is no way to test a man I dont know what to do. Continue to use condoms for a couple months after I'm clear of the HPV to be safe? Or do I have nothing to worry about?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
