I have hpv and cin2. unsure if cin3 doc is doing medical proceedure so i will be clear. will cin2 or cine go away if i do no do medical proceedure.

Hi, no, CIN 2/3 will not go away on it's own. CIN 1 sometimes does, but not the more severe levels.

I was diagnosed with CIN 2/3 back in 2005 and choose at the time not to have laser surgery for it. A year and a half later, it had turned in to carcinoma in situ, cancer which hasn't spread yet. If I had waited longer, it could have become invasive cancer, but I had the laser surgery in May, and so far, all of my follow-up Paps have been normal.

Please have the medical procedure. It can save your life.

ask your doc about cryosurgery, they freeze the cells off the surface of your cervix, and it's painless

Hello, I'm in England and have CIN2, I have just had "loop excision" to remove it, but will not know results for at least another week. Our health service is free but they have only just started screening for HPV and also they do not differentiate between the HPV strains, only a few are carcinogenic.

You MUST have treatment for CIN2 , my pap test was clear 12 months ago, so has gone from nothing to CIN2 in 12 months!
