I think I'm just going to go back in six months and pay for it. It's not like it will hurt anything, and I'd like to know what direction things are going. |
Oh I KNOW! Mine said the same when I asked if maybe I should come back in three months!
But maybe you should talk to your actual gyno as ask if she could agree to let you come back in six months, for your sake?
What else is kind of funny is that I have not heard the words "Mild" or "Moderate" be said about me.. only that my tests only show "low-grade"... I also haven't been diagnosed with any particular type of HPV or CIN I, II or III.. so it is kind of hard for me to visualize where I am on the scale of things.. all I know is that I was told to take my vitamins and folic acids, stop smoking and stay active and come back in 6 months for a pap..
Didn't you get a LEEP or something done? I would think they would want you back sooner than a year to see how things are and make sure they got everything.. That's the hard part about not being a medical professional, you're just kind of taking the doctor's word for it..
Anyway.. Call your gyno and see if she can shift her recommendation maybe?
& remember, you CAN go back sooner than the recommended time but your insurance won't pay for it!!!!!!!!! (meant to be sarcastic
