i received my first gardasil vaccination last august. when it came time to receive the second one, the doctor said he had run out and never bothered calling to reschedule my appointment. do i have to start the 3-shots cyle over again? what happens now?

If I were you, I'd call the doctor's office and ask those questions. If his/her office is out of the shots again, ask if you can get the shot somewhere else for the same price.

If it was your doctor's fault you didn't get the next shot, it's up to him to make sure you get the rest of the shots - including the first one again if it's necessary (not sure if it is, you'll have to check). He shouldn't charge you any extra. Just call him and find out what you have to do and when you should come in.

When I went in for my first shot the nurse told me the timing of the second shot was most important (the third shot's timing is more flexible), so I would definitely think about starting over.
