Hpv

Can a person contact an HPV virus by touching the genitals of the opposite sex? In particular, what if a man ejaculates in your hand?

Re: Hpv

Yes, HPV is spread by skin to skin contact (the ejaculation part wouldn't really be a factor.) So if you're touching an infected person's genitals, you are exposing yourself.

Re: Hpv

From my understanding you contract HPV through genital areas touching (sex), a hand job should not hurt you. There is some info on HPV through the Center for Disease Control online-----check it out. Also new information on having oral sex w/ HPV partner is thought to be a contributing factor to mouth/throat cancer.

Re: Hpv

MarathonLady, these ladies have given you some good information. I've read some research (only one study, though) that says they are finding HPV under fingernails. I don't know how much it has been researched, but I tend to think HPV could be passed by hand/finger contact. Afterall, it is contracted by skin contact. I don't know for positive, though.
