hpv and sex

can your body fight off hpv even if you continue to have sexual relations with your partner who is infected as well?

Re: hpv and sex

If you're being monogomous, you're fine. You would have already exposed each other to all of the strains that each of you have, and having more sex isn't going to "reinfect" you or make it worse.

However, if you have sexual contact with other people it is possible to be exposed to a different strain of HPV. Then your body would have to fight it off, also.

There are over 100 strains of HPV, 20+ of those affect the genitals.
