if my partner and i have hpv, a very mild form that most likely will clear itself up ( i know i will always technically still have it) is it ok to have unprotected sex or will this prevent the hpv from
If you've been having sex, you've most likely exposed each other to all of the strains that each of you may have brought into the relationship.
If you continue to have (monogomous) sex, it's not going to make it any worse or "reinfect" you, though I'd probably hold off if you have low-risk and still have warts until they clear up.
Actually, high-risk or low-risk doesn't matter. If you and your partner are monogamous you two can keep having unprotected relations because since you are now both carriers of whatever strain you have, you can't re-infect yourselves so you're good. It is up to your immune system to deal with the virus you each already have.
