Hpv

I have HPV and I am married. If the HPV goes away can I get it again from my husband?

Re: Hpv

high risk or low risk HPV?

If either of you has sexual contact with someone else, then it is likely to get another strain of HPV (20+ strains affect the genitals).

If you are talking about high risk HPV and the two of you stay monogamous, then the two of you have swapped whatever strains either of you brought to the relationship.

I hope that helps.

Re: Hpv

Actually, it doesn't matter which. Either way, if you both have it, you both have it, you can't re-infect each other with a strain you already have.

The only way you can get it 'again' is to actually get a new strain, and that would have to be introduced by a 3rd party.
