Hello, I was at a party the other night and a girl who I knew had HPV, as a joke, put a an object in her vagina. To be funny she put the object in my mouth when I wasn’t aware. I went to wash my mouth out with soap and then used Listerine. My question was is it possible to acquire HPV through this peculiar contact?
Okay, first of all, that is NOT funny! I'm sorry that happened to you.
Do you know what type of HPV she has?
If she has high-risk, the kind that causes warts, you could develop warts in your mouth.
If she has low-risk, the kind that causes cervical dysplasia (which could potentially lead to cancer), there's some evidence of VERY rare cases of throat cancer, but nothing I'd be too concerned about.

High risk causes cancer. Low risk causes warts.
I think getting a wart in your mouth is extremely rare. I wouldnt worry about it.
