Need help understanding HPV

How do you get HPV? I would like to know more about HPV can anyone help understand the virus. I just had surgery to remove an ovarian tumor and when i went to see my doctor for a post op visit she told me that my pap test showed that i have the HPV virus. Please help

Hi Bunny! The best place to learn about HPV (in my opinion) is to read what the Center For Disease Control says.

Did your doctor say what type of HPV you have? high risk or low risk? What did your doctor say the next step is?
