I had an affair for four years, but only met up with my male partner on two occassions, the last time being two years ago, we had unprotected sex quite a few times, he has now told me that his wife has developed cervical cancer through the HPV virus, could this be my fault as last year i had abnormal cell changes and had to have a colposcopy but HPV was never mentioned and i was given the all clear, I have only ever had unprotected sex with him and my husband
I understand the fact that we may never know whopassed it to who, but could she have developed cervical cancer so quickly through her husband having slept with me.
Once again, it's hard to say. It takes weeks, months or years for HPV to show symptoms-----I was married over 16 years when I found out. I'm a bit confused, you initially said you'd slept with him 2 years ago and then said he now told you about cervical cancer and could it have happened so quickly after him sleeping with you. I may be wrong but I don't think there is ANY way to determine what you are asking.
