This will depend to a large degree of the type of HPV you have been diagnosed with AND if the high risk type what if anything transpires between now and the time you decide to have a child. HPV does not prevent you from getting pregnant nor staying pregnant. If the HPV lesions are significant approaching the delivery date, the obstetrician may elect to do a C-section since HPV can be introduced into the mouth, throat and larynx of the newborn.
