The good news is that most men do not suffer from the negative consequences of high risk HPV. The bad news is, because they don't tend to get dysplasia or cancer from HPV, they don't know if they have it, therefore they don't know if they are spreading it . . . UNLESS. . . a woman with whom they have been intimate has been diagnosed with HPV, then it is safe for them to assume they have been exposed to it.
I try not to say "not fair" but that really isn't (in my word of fair/not fair)!
