My girlfriend just tested positive for HPV this year. Last year she had tested negative. I was also tested this year and last year and tested negative both years. I guess what i am asking is how would she have gotten the HVP virus without haveing had sex with a differnet person then me in the past year. Well at least she says she didn't.
HPV can cause problems for one person in a relationship and not the other. HPV can cause problems soon after exposure, or months later, or years later, or decades later.
