if you have hpv can you have childern in the future?

Absolutely. HPV does not effect getting pregnant, carrying a baby, or delivery.

Actually if the baby is delivered vaginally, the virus can be spread to the baby through the direct skin to skin contact. However, if a c-section is done, that drmatically decreases the risk because its not much skin to skin direct contact.

The only time that I have seen a c-section performed for an HPV infection is in severe cases of genital warts where clusters occlude the vaginal opening. Otherwise, most physicians I know in this area would recommend vaginal delivery.

I have never seen an elective c-section performed for HPV of the cervix (although I am not saying that it has never happened). Transmission to the baby is extremely rare.

My understanding is that the c-section, because of genital warts isn't the prefered delivery choice. It is an option, though.
