Bathing With A Child

My mother has HPV and for some reason bathed with my daughter who is 2 months old. I am furious! Could she have passed this to my baby?

I'm not a doctor but I dont think bathing with a child can transmit HPV. If it does then HPV pos are not allowed to swim in the pool at all and if it does, then most of us will already have HPV. Doesn't hurt to open this one up to your doctor on your next visit...

Do you know if your mother has high risk or low risk HPV? HPV is transmitted by skin to skin contact.

No, the virus is not transmitted in this manner. You should talk with your gyno to get more info on HPV. You'll need the information for when your daughter is older anyway as you;ll need to decide about having her immunized and educating her on HPV.
