Your boyfriend now probably has your strain of HPV. however, if he has any sort of sexual history prior to you he probably has already come in contract with HPV. did you have HPV before you met him, or did you find out while dating him? If you found out while dating him, it's possible he gave you the infection, but since HPV isn't partner traceable, there is no way to know for sure. At any rate, high risk HPV doesn't really do anything to men. There is a very very very very small chance it can cause penile or anal cancer, but the risk is so very small that it's not really anything to worry about.
