Do you know exactly the words on the pathology report?
If she just has Squamous cell papillomas, I think all it means is that she has genital warts on her outer cervix. Squamous is the term used to describe the cells on the outer cervix. Papilloma is a grown that grows outwart from the skin surface. If that is the case, then she has genital warts on her cervix. Those, I believe, are caused by low risk HPV. Low risk HPV does not turn into cancer.
It is possible for her to have high risk and low risk HPV at the same time.
Graves, I think that is the best step at this point. That way you'll know what test the doctor did, what cells were taken, the pathologist's impressions, and his/her recommendations.
I didn't know anything about HPV 2 years ago. I had to learn out of necessity. :/
