rectal hpv + leukopenia

My 82 yr old mother has a hpv flat lesion about an inch inside her rectum. She's been anemic + now has leukopenia. Related?

Re: rectal hpv + leukopenia

From what I just read on a popular internet encyclopedia, leukopenia can have a variety of causes. HPV is not listed in the article, so I'd assume it isn't directly related. Leukopenia can be caused from anything from influenza to leukemia, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy. There are also some medications that can cause leukopenia.

I hope your mother is feeling ok. Will she be getting the lesion removed?
