| Warts or Skin Tags?
How do you tell the difference between warts and skin tags? Is there any relation between skin tags and HPV? I have seen my mom eat up with skin tags all over her abdomen (like a hundred or so). She had HPV before I was born. I am now getting skin tags in various places, my abdomen, under my arm, and now one on my neck that's bleeding. The places are soft, movable, it's a small area of excess skin. I've always had normal paps. Have never been diagnosed with HPV but my common association with my mom with skin tags, makes me wonder about it, if the two problems are linked. Do warts ever look like skin tags? It is tested through a pap smear, right? She also had uterine polyps. So have I, and had one removed during a pap. Why are our problems similar if I don't have this virus?
