Question contagious?
okay so i got genital warts when i was 15 and my out break went away a couple of months later on its own. after that i got the gardasil shots. I am now 19 and haven't had an out break since I was 15. my question is am i still contagious? and is it even possible to completely get rid of HPV?

It depends on which strain of low risk HPV you had when you had warts. Gardasil only covers 4 strains (out of over 30) of HPV: 2 which lead to the majority of cases of genital warts and 2 which lead to the majority of the cases of cervical cancer.

Are you still contagious? It depends on which doctor or researcher you talk with. Some say someone is contagious for life, others say someone isn't. I don't know which is right.
