Don't be worried, just be proactive. Do your research on secure websites- being proactive can cause you to worry, so it's kinda a catch 22! But don't worry about the colpo. You will be fine. It's like a pap smear, but about a minute or less longer. The colpo is different though because a vinegar solution is used to detect abnormal cell growth. Sounds scary, but it's part of the whole HPV process and you can't get scared or discouraged because you need to know to what degree the abnormal cell growth is in order for it not to advance to cervical cancer.
If you have any other questions, definitely talk to your gyno or ask the board. These ladies are very helpful and comforting!
