HPV vaccine indications
do the women over 26 years old can receive HPV vaccine? I have read that it is indicated for the women from 9-25 years.

Women over age 26 CAN, if they think it is necessary. For example, if you are dating a man who knows he has HPV.

It's just not routinely recommended for women over 26, because most infections happen in adolescence.

In addition, there is an assumption that at about age 26 a woman will be settling down in a monogamous relationship, which is not always true. A woman over 26 can benefit from the vaccination and not face any unique health consequences due to her age should she choose to get it. Some insurance companies may not cover the costs if the patient is over 26, which is one thing to consider. But if you ask me, peace of mind is worth the cost.
