 LEEP positive endocervical margins
Hi everyone,
I was diagnosed with HPV about 16 months ago. Since then, I had one colposcopy that came back normal, and then another that resulted in me having to get a LEEP. I just got the results back from the LEEP, and my doctor told me that I have positive endocervical margins, cin ii-iii. I'm going back in 2 months for a currettage/repeat pap to see if the cautery killed the other bad cells. If not, she wants to refer me to a specialist.
None of my friends have gone through this, and so their understanding is limited. I'm only 24 years old, and really scared that it will continue to get worse and will affect my having kids in the future. I keep hoping for the best but it's getting hard.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
