Bettyrose, you brought up a flash back in how I felt when I learned I had it. I went to every site that dealt with this issue; HPV. I then was totally shocked in what I saw (pictures with bad case of genital warts.....which by the way were picutres that are rare. These people with over extreme cases where the butt or penis or virginia is covered with warts didnt go to the doctors when they should have, maybe because they were too ashamed, or scard, or whatever natural feeling they were dealing with). I remember spending forever reading up, and then I learned that ended up a bad thing. The doctor sent me to this seminar (sp) about HPV and how to deal with it. There I got the perfect understanding of what it is and how to deal with it, and live a happy life. You just have to be persistent, and keep your immune system up. I have had my singlar wart removed a few months ago, and no problems yet. If it does come up again, it will NOT pull me down, because NOW I have a better understanding and since I have NO choice, but to deal with it I choose now to live a happy and better life.
BTW you welcome Bettyrose. I just felt that I needed to post that info so others will have a clearer understanding of what it is, so others can know there is hope and they can live happly......and also to let them know their feelings are natural and to let them know they are not alone. |
