Unhappy HPV dying inside!! i am freaking out! help!

i am straight.. never been with a man and have never had any type of anal activity with even a woman.... i just recently found out that i have anal hpv and they are internal too.... i feel like i am literally dying i am so confused and shocked.. i don't know how i could have possibly gotten this.... i don't see any topics about them being inside the anus.... what am i going to do?... what do they do for this?... how could i have possibly gotten this?... i was referred to a specialist today... the doctor asked me if i had had anal sex.. i told him never... he acted like he thought i was lying... i am freaking out!!!

i dont really know much about this medically, but i would think that since the anus and the scrotum are extremely close. if you were having sex with a woman that had hpv and her vaginal secretions dripped down to the anus im sure you could get hpv that way. i know that a condom isn't very good at protecting against hpv because it will only protect the penis but not the surrounding area. so maybe this is the way you could have gotten it. i hope everything works out and don't stress so much about it. it seems so much worse when you first hear it. if you let it settle in im sure it won't seem that bad. good luck.

Technically, you need to have skin to skin contact to infect the skin although that may not always be the rule. How you got them on your anus, only you could answer. Perhaps some gal fingered you??? Don't worry too much about this though. Just go through all the steps to get rid of them and perhaps have some follow-up's in the future to make sure they don't come back. Just remember, even though the warts may be gone, some parts of your skin may still contain the virus and thus you could spread it to your partner. Just something to be aware of. Talk to your doctor about it.

thank you... but that's just it.... no one has ever touched my anus. you say that only i can answer how i got them .... but i can not... you understand... i have NEVER done ANYTHING anal.... i am not even curious about anyone touching me there..... i called the only sexual partner i have been with in the last year and she said she was going to get checked out... but has not called me back... (we haven't been together in over 3 weeks because i found out she was lying and cheating with someone and i had her number blocked out till i found out about this) she is the only person i was with and she never touched my anus. That's what i am saying... NEVER... NEVER had any anal activity! but aparantly I have HPV and it is internal...

HPV is a virus...spread by contact...so if you get the virus on any part of your body and you spread it by contact with any other part of your body you have spred the virus to many parts of your body.

Its not a mystery or hard to understand.

Keeping your hands clean is a big first when dealing with viruses. Why, because you touch a lot with your hands in a very short time.

Taking a good shower after sex is a habit I have. Has it freaked any ladies out...? NO, not that they have said, I invite them in with me...That way I have someone to wash my back.

I have had several women tell me that they have HPV. I didn't have sex with those women.
A few have not told me and did have it. But I have been lucky so far.

It is the most wide spread STD on the planet.
Peace
