HPV but vaccinated...?

Hello,

my ex-boyfriend just told me that he has been tested positive for HPV. Already during our relationship, he brought up the topic a few times but said he was negative - I have been tested as well but nothing was found. Also, I was vaccinated 6-7 years ago so it's very unlikely that I will develop cervical cancer. However, I am obviously worried about carrying a strain of it which I could pass on to somebody else who could then develop cancer?! I am going to get tested AGAIN tomorrow just to make sure, but are they even capable of finding all strains?

I would appreciate any answer.

Thanks!
