 Older, but not wiser!
Hello, I joined this group today. I recently turned 61 y.o. Last week I had my annual PAP and to my dismay, I discovered that my PAP was abnormal and I'm HPV Positive. Back in Oct/Nov, I was intimate with one guy after almost 6 years of being celibate; so I'm fairly sure I got it from him (he is 46 y.o.) I'm so SICK about this. In years past, I have had lots of unprotected sex and never had any issues (guess, I've been lucky up until now.) I'm so scared and ashamed! I have a colopscopy next week. I've heard it's not as conclusive since I'm post menopausal. I'm not as worried about getting cervical cancer as I am about getting throat or neck cancer! Yes, I performed oral sex too! Dummy me! I'm so disgusted with myself. I texted the guy I was with and he will not return my texts or phone calls. I know there is no test for men, but surely he knew he had it?!
