Devine No. 9

Brief history on why I am here and asking about this. Please forgive me if I sound like I am rambling but have posted anything anywhere before. I always had regular paps every year until I had a total hysterectomy 19 yrs ago due severe problems with large fibroids and family history of all types of "female" cancers. I had conflicting advise about whether a pap every year was even necessary since I didn't have a cervix anymore so wasn't concerned. Last year my new PCP suggested that I get one (it had been 10 yrs since the last one). All my previously paps always came back normal and I was surprised when this one came back abnormal but I wasn't really concerned but she wanted me to go to a specialist for another one. It took 3 months to see him and that one came back abnormal. Ok at this time even I was starting to worry (if you knew me you would know I "don't do worry" I just get ulcers). He said he wanted to do another one in 3 months so back I went. I'm thinking that after reading about possible causes for abnormal paps I would ask him if he had done an HPV test (I thought it was a routine test now a days but I was wrong) but he didn't order it. I ask him to order it and he did. Results came back with yet another abby and positive for the high risk HPV 18. Needlessly I was surprised and hubs was very upset (he worries enough for both of us). Now we are trying to figure out how to deal with this. Everything we have read and been told is that there is a good chance with a good diet and boosting our immune systems it could go dormant/go away(wishful thinking but more concerned about him). We were told since it is "spread/contracted" via skin to skin that Devine No. 9 could help reduce the probability along with using condoms.

So, long story short and getting to the point of my subject has anyone tried this or any other product?

Thank you for listening.

Re: Devine No. 9

Hi TxDancer I've never heard of Devine No 9 so can't answer on that. I didn't see you mention it in thread (if you did, I apologize) but do you have genital warts itself? I ask because from what I've read not everyone who has HPV develops the warts. If in your case you don't have the warts itself, I'm thinking diet changes to boost your immune system would definitely help. I think of course it helps with the warts being present as well...as I'm currently recovering from anal warts myself. From what I hear, lots of folic acid, vitamin c, and vitamin e is good. I ate lots of grapefruits and oranges. Taking a liquid tincture of echinacea and goldenseal for immune support is good as well as plenty of garlic, ginger, etc. Basically whatever foods and supplements that can help the immune system would definitely not hurt. Of course I'm not a doctor so take my advice with a grain of salt but it sounded like you were in that direction as well as far as diet changes and I would agree, that it can help indeed.

Good luck to you and your husband. Definitely try not to let it stress you anymore than it's already had.

Re: Devine No. 9

Thanks for responding. No we don't have warts just are hpv positive 18. We're getting ready to start a serious detox regime to help boost our immune systems. I'm staying positive but also know what can happen. Thanks

For boosting immunity system, go for herbs from Hypericum family.
