What makes you think you're a hypochodriac?? I thought that and I had thyroid problems, among other things, that mimicked various problems and were often vague.
If you are a true hypochondriac, you still have a disorder...most people don't recognize that it's treatable and should be treated. Usually it is someone who has a panic prone personality and may also have past or current abuse/neglect issues in the home or from an important relationship. If this is your situation, you should seek counseling and get put on some meds that work for depression and anxiety.
Also, don't be too quick to tell docs that you think you are a hypochondriac because should you ever have a medical problem or even the possibility of one now, they aren't likely to listen to you. Get into therapy and on meds and see what symptoms are relieved.
What led you to this conclusion? What type of problems are you having and which do you feel are related to hypochondria??
If you don't experience anything bad, you'll never appreciate the good when it comes around!!!
