I took levoxyl once and noticed that I was hungrier and had low blood sugar. It also bothered my stomach. I just changed to Synthroid and so for it hasn't bothered my stomach.

Thats odd that you mentioned that. My sugar felt low as well,I think thats why I was staying so hungry.I mean my Stomach was growling non stop...LoL
Im glad to see it wasnt all in my head.
So you swapped to synthroid....Hows that going? I hope you have better luck. That pill did a number on me..: (
I just wish that there was a thyroid pill out there you can take that wouldnt cause weird side effects.I guess that would be asking way too much out of life.

I don't think you're being a hypochondriac at all. I take 150mcg of synthroid and am hungry 24/7. Drives me absolutely bonkers

I take synthroid (50mcg) and for the first couple of weeks I was ravenous. I've been on it for 6 months now and I do find I'm hungrier than I used to be before taking anything, but not as bad as I was the first couple of weeks after starting. I assumed though that this came with the territory as aren't all these meds upping our metabolism a bit? I don't mind the hunger as before I was diagnosed I had absolutely no appetite. It's nice to find food appealing again.

Ok here's mine

Tired all the time/no energy
last 4 months very weak/ arms
weight gain/ can't lose
dry eyes/ have to put water in them to get them to move in morning-yuk!
eczema all my life
I have had plenty of muscle aches too
no problem with hair

Just started meds 3 wks ago put on 125mcg but I cut it to 75mcg to get used to it. Should be tested for it before too long. Good luck, I am really happy to have found this site- it helps! Laura
