When I was diagnosed 2 plus weeks ago, I told my best friend of 27 years. Her comment at the time was, that she had been wondering about me lately, but hadn’t wanted to feed into my hypocondriacness. Now she tells me that she miss spoke and thinks I am not BP and thinks I need a second opinion. She for some reason thinks I am a hypochondriac. I suffer from chronic back pain due to a spinal cord compression in my thoracic spine, and once I had a kidney stone! Anyway, she thinks that I shouldn’t be on meds, or should be really careful. She was unaware until I told her there were different types of BP. I told her this after she said, but you don’t sleep with strangers or stay up for days or get arrested!
Anyway, I am trying to find info for her on the milder forms of BP such as Cyclothymia. Or a chart or graph that shows them comparably side by side?
Thanks
Everyone I know tells me the same thing but I don't have to explain anything to them because I tell my therapist everything and she's the one who diagnosed me. No one else knows what goes on in our heads and you don't have to steal things, stay up for days, get arrested or have sex with everyone you meet just to be bipolar. There are severe cases and then there are mild cases. I, thank God, have a milder case. Sometimes.

Thanks Moody,
I have never connected my taking or stealing of small things my whole life with BP until just now.
Your right, I don't have to explain do I?
