I need advice! My husband was always a healthy, athletic guy until about 6 months ago. He felt dizzy, so he went to the doctor and was told he had rather high blood pressure (it was like 140/80 or something). It was just a freak thing, because he bought a blood pressure monitor, took his blood pressure every 30 minutes for about 2 weeks and it was pretty normal after all.
Since then, he has had just about every ailment imaginable. He's been in and out of the hospital, many doctor's offices, etc. and nothing seems to be wrong with him. He has been convinced of having literally dozens of diseases and problems.
He is a full blown hypochondriac, but when I suggest that, he thinks I just don't care. He's on anxiety medication and a myriad of other drugs. Aside from this, he does have a compulsive sort of personality, which has gotten worse. Since I can't get him to see anyone for this disorder, is there anything that I can do to help him get back to normal??
