Granted that this has been going on for so long, I sometimes doubt it's anything serious. However, I suppose I would like some input other than my own.
I've never been one for doctors. When I get sick, I deal with it alone, and it generally goes away on it's own.
Starting last June, I began to feel aching in my throat on some days. I used to sing a lot; I felt my voice was weak after the past summer. Some days I would just feel weak in general. I would feel like I was losing my voice, and my throat would hurt. My voice was not as strong. In February I noticed white bumps and patches in the back of my throat. For several months I have been very fatigued; I have a desire to sleep often during the day and it hurts to move. Yet, at night it will take me hours to fall asleep. Like I said, I feel very weak. It is sometimes extremely difficult to breathe.
Is this all just counicidental and nothing to worry about or does it somehow tie together?
i feel the same way... drowsy beyond belief! Ihave LPR though and my throat feels so sore and swollen but the doctor cannot see any physical evidence and just said its nothing but anxiety! (my foot!) i also have constant PND and the pressure in my head is bad... to sum it all up it is my throat that I think is giving me this weird kind of feeling... it was caused by acid.. as I have GERD.. but the thing is I dont have any reflux anymore my tummy feels ok.. but still my throat is killing me! I have an appointment tom with the ENT its best that u also arrange to see one to properly diagnose you... will keep u posted with my results...
White patches in the back of your throat may be caused by Strep throat, tonsillitis, and oral thrush etc. I don't know about the rest of your symptoms you are experiencing, It could be anything. It's best to see a doctor especially If you still have those white bumps in back of your throat as they may be a sign of a throat infection along with the soreness.
