hypochondria..?

It seems I'm always worried about having some kind of cancer or something. "Oh, my stool is thin" or "i have a lump in my neck", etc.

My doctor never seems concerned when I bring these things to attention, and I'm wondering: Am I really finding things that are bad? Or are they just normal little things that everyone has and I get worked up about them.

I always manage to find a lump under my arm, in my neck, or somewhere, and I get all worried. It seems I can never live my normal life, because there is always something to worry about.

Re: hypochondria..?

Lumps, pain and pecularities of poop are all part of life has a human being. There is no such thing as painfree. Sometimes those symptoms do indicate a problem, but they are usually accompanied with other symptoms like faver or cramps.

The other problem is that, if you are suffering from depression, any suggestion your doctor might offer may manifest themselves as more symptoms. It's a rotten trick that your mind plays on you when you have depression.

The solution is for you to seek out treatment for clinical depression from a mental health professional. Clinical depression is a real disease that causes the problems you are having. It's treatable. Sometimes with medicine. Sometimes just with counseling. But, it won't get better until you get help.
