The skin on my belly gets irritated with the button/belt on my jeans because i am allergic to metal. I noticed about 10 days ago that it was sore and when i felt there was a large firm lump deep under my skin. I went my gp and he said it was an abscess and gave me strong antibiotics. I stupidly googled and because it said they usually have an head on and mine hasn't it's kicked my health anxiety off. The antibiotics don't seem to be doing anything and i can't get it out of my head and i keep feeling it. I have tried to see if it will squeeze but it feels right deep down under my skin and i have bruised my belly. It is going to make me ill waiting until i have finished my antibiotics until i go back to my gp but i know they arent going to get rid of this lump
