I've got a tentative date for July 25 for a TAH. I really cannot wait to get my uterus removed because of fibroids. Gonna be a good and wild ride through this month. I have my medical clearance appt on Thurs the 14th. Yeap, can't wait. I've fought fibroids for a few years at least and finally will be having the issue addressed with a definitive answer. Taking megace for about 3 weeks now and that's shut down the bleeding but not the cramping...ugh. Really am ready to finally have energy and not have my pelvis running my life.

Edited to add: I won't be having "the girls" (ovaries) removed. I'm 37 yrs old with no kids.
