| Painful Sex after Hysterectomy
I am now 7 weeks post op from a total Hysterectomy (they took it all!) My doc finally gave me the go ahead on intercourse. However, the pain was so bad, we actually had to stop. My husband was not able to fully penetrate but didn't bump into anything. Vaginal dryness wasn't an issue and I am wondering how long the painful intercourse will last before it is good. I was looking forward to pain free sex and now am wondering if it will ever happen.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.

it will get better try again in a few weeks after my hysterectomy it took a good couple of months post hysterectomy and quite a few attemps, if dryness is not a problem count yourself lucky but try a warm bath a couple of glasses of wine and you are most probably more nervous than you are letting on just remember everything will still feel that same for the both of you, good luck and relax you will soon be swinging from the lights.......
