I'm scheduled to have a laporascopic hysterectomy on the 29th due to fibroids and cysts. Has anyone had this done? What kind of pain did you have after the surgery? What was the recovery time?

I'm not scared but actually relieved to think the menstrual problems will be gone soon. I'll never have to have another debilitating period again. I would love to hear from anyone who has had this type of surgery. I have a few anxieties about the pain and recovery.
