 Post Hysterectomy Ovarian Cyst Problem
Hello Everyone,
this is my first time on here so I hope I do this right. I had a partial hysterectomy(everything but the ovaries) in January 2006, due to endometreosis. I have multiple ovarian cysts since then. The doc at the time didn't want to remove my ovaries because of my age, even with the understanding that my ovaries never fully functioned without the help of medicine. Once again I am having to go thru the transvaginal ultrasound and constant pain that comes with the cysts. My question is should I push for my new doc to go ahead and remove my ovaries or just keep them because of my age? I have had many complications since my hysterectomy, such as weight gain, bloating, pain, acne and facial hair. I feel as if I am in puberty all over again. I'm very stressed over the whole thing and would like to be able to go into this appointment with some fresh ideas.
