may I ask where you heard that? My doctor told me at my 2 week post appt that intercourse was NOT okay, but "outercourse" was.

Thanks so much for your reply . . .and it is not so much what I was told and it was what I didnt ask. At my 1 wk post surgery follow my doctor stated clearly that intercourse was out of the question but Now... Well today is Saturday and the Docs office is closed and I'm just trying to find out if a little messin' around with hubby would be OK. We are both concernd the the throb of the orgasm might bust stiches . . .or something

You need to follow your doctor's instructions. I would not risk complications. Sometimes the compliations require more healing than the hyst itself.

It is difficult for us to answer this question for you. We don't know why you had your hyst, what type of work the did during the hyst, etc.

I think you should wait until you call your doctor's office.

I agree with everyone else - listen to the Dr.

You are still healing in that area. If you had your cervix removed, there still may be stitches in that area that have not disolved yet.
