i need to have a laparoscopy - Hysterectomy Message Board

I went to the doc today. It has been a month now that I saw her and she told me she thinks I have adenomyosis. So in talking to her today she told me she wants to go in and do the lap. to take biopsies and look for endo while doing an ablation. I am happy to be getting it done and not really nervous, I just want to know everything that is going on inside. My doc wanted me to get this done first because she is hesatent to just go forth with the hyster. because of my age (25). I just want to know what any of you have to say about having the lap done. I am a hair stylest and stand on my feet stretching for 8 to 10 houres a day, how till you think I can go back to work after this. any comments would be great to here even if not plesant.

I didn't have either procedure you are looking into, but know there are many women who have. I don't have anything to add, but wanted to jump in and say Hi.

well thanks for letting me know that someone is out there trying to help. I just wonder how long after till I can go back to my regular day.
