Help! Leaking urine
 

I had a total hysterectomy - abdominally - three weeks ago. Yesterday I started leaking urine. I'm going through pads like crazy. I actually have a follow-up appt. with my gyn today, so I'll ask her about it. Does anyone know what this could be? Will it go away?

It could be from trauma to nerves that serve the bladder. All kinds of nerves are damaged during a hysterectomy. They usually heal over time. I would say within a month or two.

I had a little bit of leakage for about 6 weeks post op.
