hi pickle eyes,yes i had my overies out,i was just woundering if other ladies had the same,i know that there is high cholesteral in my family ,but it seems to have shot up in a matter of months to 8.3 ,shirley
I still have my ovaries, so I don't have that problem. It seems like I've read of women having cholesterol problems after having their ovaries removed. What has your doctor said about it?
hi,i went to the doctor becouse of joint and muscle pain ,feeling very tired cold and putting weight on,he thought it was my thyroid ,he did lots of blood tests ,they all came back fine except cholesterol i asked if my problems could be due to my hysterectomy he shruged his shoulders and said could be and that was that, he gave me amertriptolyne (spelling) said i had stress, and put me on statins for cholesterol ,shirley
I have had a hysterectomy, with remaining ovaries. It has been a while since my surgery but I do have high colesterol. Statins did not work out for me , due to side effects.

it is nine months since my opp and i still have big stomach, gets bigger as the day goes on , dr has put me on a low dose of statins 10 mg ,i shall have to see what happens he has put me on alow dose becouse i have joint and muscle pain,
