Hydro Thermal Ablation

I had a hydro thermal ablation done on April 12th. I had very light bleeding the first two days which stopped. I then have quite heavy bleeding start very quickly which ended up seeming like a period. It stopped in a few days, just like a period. I have already had another period since then, So starting every two and half weeks. Which is what I was dealing with before the procedure. Is this normal? They are not as heavy and no clots so far. Which I used to have alot and large. Will I likely continue to have periods this close together? I was hoping not to have periods after this procedure, which everyone I know who has had it has not. Is my procedure a

I don't know a lot about ablations, but I do know they don't give the same success rates to every one. Some women never have a period (or related) problems again, others have lighter problems than they previously had, and others have no improvement.

If I remember correctly when i had mine done they told me that it would take a couple of periods to show improvement. I had very light periods afterward but they didn't stop. However, I have a couple of friends that got it done that never had a period again. depends on the person...
