| Post hysterectomy
I am 46 years old and had a partial hysterectomy last year. I had been experiencing severe abdominal pain due to fibroids. After the surgery I was relieved that I didn't have to have painful periods. So a year later I am now experiencing lower back pain and sometimes pelvic pain. I have been going to my primary care doctor for the this pain. They have been testing me for my gall bladder. I've had CT scan, another test I just recently had which I don't know the name of which is bad on my part, but it was 1.5 hours long. Spent 10 hours at ER and was sent home and told to take mylanta or pepcid. I was furious with this diagnosis.
I had not considered the possibility that it could be my ovaries until watching tv and the lady described her pain which is exactly what I had been experiencing. Is there anyone who had a partial hysterectomy and experiencing any ovary problems? I will be seeing my ob/gyn soon.
